MBA are looking for a qualified Statutory Accountant with experience in regulatory accounting . Our client is looking to expand their team, this role is a hybrid position with travel into Birmingham. This role is to support a number of internal entities and the duties of the Statutory Accountant will include
Preparation and submission of statutory financial statements across a number of entities in compliance with UK GAAP
Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Preparation of monthly revenue calculations
Production of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet for deadline submission

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant experience in statutory accounting and financial reporting.
Thorough knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS and experience in preparing statutory financial statements.
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience working with external auditors and managing the audit process
