An established national brand is looking for a proven Interim Finance Manager to manage a small, busy transactional team (Sales Ledger / Purchase Ledger). This is a fixed term contract for 9-12 months, covering maternity leave. The role will be based in the Maidenhead area, Buckinghamshire office-based initially, but ultimately flexible with approximately 1 day per week in the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high volumes of transactions, month-end management, monthly treasury management (payment cycles, cashflow, forecasting, petty cash, & foreign exchange), monthly bank reconciliation, quarterly VAT returns, supporting with external audits, analysis and reporting of funding, as well as providing hands-on transactional support at peak times. This would suit a Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA), or Newly Qualified / Finalist, with proven experience of managing and motivating small finance / transactional teams. It is essential to have strong Excel and accountancy systems skills, any experience with Access Finance will be highly advantage. This Interim Finance Manager role is paying up to £45,000 depending on experience.
