My client are seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join their team in Glasgow. The successful individual will report to the Credit Control Manager and will be part of a small but efficient and effective team.
My client was founded in 2001 and has grown organically, and through acquisition, to become one of Scotland s biggest and best Property Management companies. Currently servicing over 36,000 properties in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure invoices are paid on time.
Follow debt collection procedures.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, procedures and processes.
Stay updated on credit control best practice.
Ability to reconcile complex accounts.
Raising & requesting Notice of Potential Liabilities (NOPL s) on Registers of Scotland (ROS).
Recording NOPL s and making sure these are kept up to date.
Calculating Direct Debit reviews and preparing the DD increase review letters.
Handling & follow up of the DD rejections.
Checking on landlord registration (LLR) for contact details for new developments.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in a fast-paced high volume credit control environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-discipline and motivation.
Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team.
Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
