Description:

Brook Street is working with a well-known organisation in Swansea. They are looking for an Insolvency Case Manager. This is a permanent opportunity and is fully remote with an attractive salary dependant on experience.You will only be considered for this role if you have the CPI (Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency).

As an Insolvency Manager, you will be responsible for the progression of the case from post appointments handover to closure . This role provides exposure to a wide range of industries and offers an opportunity to develop your people management and client-facing skills.

Duties:

  • Reporting directly to the appointment taking IP.
  • Achieving statutory and regulatory compliance
  • Dealing with directors of insolvent companies, agents and solicitors
  • Responsibility for additional ad hoc tasks as required
  • Having a degree of autonomy in decision making
  • Preparation and implementation of case strategy;
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to agree case strategy (including secured creditors and directors);
  • Planning, delegating and monitoring cases to ensure that work is completed effectively;
  • Ensuring financial management of the cases you oversee.

Requirements

  • Experience with IPS system is beneficial
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Be a good problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and emphatic personality.
  • Be analytical and driven to get the best outcomes for stakeholders
  • Agreeable to further training
  • A team player who is friendly and supportive
  • An experienced background in insolvency.
  • JIEB/CPI qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous management experience in a similar role.
