About the role

Operations Business Risk and Controls department provides second line policy, procedures and methodology for the management of operational resilience and third party risk management, oversight, guidance, training, governance and automation for business risk and controls for the Operations Services, General Administration, Clearing and Payments departments. As a Senior Assistant - Third Party Risk Management, you will be responsible for supporting the Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management Managers and the first-line business areas to implement and manage the bank-wide policy, methodology, governance and tooling. You'll be required to perform controls testing to ensure the bank appropriately manages its risk. This is a full time permanent position.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist to generate and maintain the necessary Resilience Framework, Policy, Standards, procedures and controls on behalf of the 1LOD
  • Support and maintain the Operational Resilience, Third Party, Outsourcing database and tooling
  • Conduct and evidence Controls Testing and Quality Assurance on Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Controls
  • Assist to collate data and produce reporting to evidence risk status at board-level committees
  • Assist to complete education and awareness of Policy and controls requirements
  • Manage the administrative work for the ORCC, including the role of Secretariat for the Operations Risk and Controls Committee.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry and proven track record in similar business stream
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Good understanding of UK regulatory requirements on Third Party Risk management
  • Familiar with Financial Services regulatory and risk controls frameworks, market changes and impact analysis.
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills is preferred
