Finance Manager

Paying circa £52k, with excellent holidays, pension, and other flexible benefits. This well-established and award-winning independent housing association is recruiting an experience Financial Reporting Manager to join their team.

THE JOB

You will report to the Director of Finance and oversee the completion of statutory and management accounts, regulatory, and financial returns for the Group. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, mentoring, and developing a small finance team
• Producing group budgets and management accounts
• Preparing timely monthly management accounts with supporting narratives
• Reporting on KPIs (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Partnering with key budget holders
• Preparing annual statutory accounts for the Group
• Overseeing Value for Money reporting
• Ensuring financial compliance and achieving strategic objectives

THE PERSON

We re seeking a qualified accountant (or a finalist) with knowledge of social housing or a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in delivering annual financial accounts and regulatory returns
• Expertise in managing finance teams in a housing or similar environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills

• £52,000 p.a.
