Junior Insurance Broker

This is a fantastic opportunity for a someone who is looking to start a career as an Insurance Broker.

We are a dynamic and competitive company based in the heart of the City of London which became an accredited Lloyd s broker in 2008. Under new ownership and a new management structure since January 2022, we are expanding our services and business lines to a broader geography and are committed to connecting clients with the best people and markets offering customised solutions.

This role is to support our Senior Broker in placement of risks, whilst at the same time glean his knowledge to support company and personal growth.

Key Duties:

• Providing full support to the Senior Broker
• Attending Lloyd's of London with Senior Broker to broke new and existing business
• Creation of all forms of evidence of cover including insurance policies/wordings as applicable for the classes of business.
• Preparation of Insurance documentation including slips and Endorsements
• Processing of formal quotes for all markets using PPL.
• Handling the agreement of formal documents with underwriters and sending to agents.
• Researching potential markets
• Monitoring and reporting on BlueprintTwo
• Experience using IMR
• Excellent excel knowledge

Experience and skills required:

• Educated to a minimum of A Level standard or at least 2 years experience in an insurance role
• Keen to move from a current insurance position into a Junior Broker role or looking to further progress as a Junior Broker
• Should be familiar with Risk placement in Lloyd s and the London Market
• Looking to complete Insurance qualifications
• Strong attention to detail including high accuracy when inputting data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work will under pressure and to deadlines when required
• Proficient in Italian language is advantageous but not essentail
