Global Finance Manager Oxford, Oxfordshire (with hybrid working) About the Organisation Our client advances education for refugees and conflict-affected communities in the East and Horn of Africa region. They are currently seeking a Global Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 28 hours per week. The Role As the Global Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of both our client's UK and overseas offices, ensuring financial sustainability. You will lead financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management and financial reporting, while working closely with key stakeholders such as the CEO, Country Directors and Director of International Development. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across all regions, you will oversee bookkeeping for their UK office and manage consolidated financial accounts from overseas offices. Additionally, you will: - Lead the annual audit process - Support and supervise finance staff in overseas offices - Provide capacity-building support to improve financial management - Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategic decision-making About You To be considered as a Global Finance Manager, you will need: - A professional accounting qualification with significant experience in financial management - Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries - Experience with bookkeeping, particularly in small teams - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-cultural teams - Strong knowledge of charity accounting, audit processes, and statutory requirements - Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software The closing date for this role is 17th November 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an online written exercise in the week commencing November 18th, and a panel interview, with interviews hosted in Oxford on December 4th 2024.
