Working in an SME, this Finance Manager role will have significant breadth of responsibility and have full exposure to the SMT. The position is suited to individuals with a demonstratable background in audit, statutory reporting and management accounts. In addition, the role is responsible for end-to-end transactional finance including banking, payments and controls. Own all statutory reporting process, including Year End and Half Year audit, statutory accounts, and tax compliance.
Submission of VAT returns.
Treasury management including banking, cash flow and fx.
Ownership over various control processes e.g. payments, stock and reconciliations.
Monthly management accounts preparation.
Overseeing and supporting the transactional finance function, working closely with them to ensure correct procedure.
Experience of an ERP implementation as part of a company-wide systems change which involves business process developments.
Ongoing support to the CFO and wider organisation on an ongoing basis
Finance Manager Person Specification:
Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA).
Background in audit, with relevant follow-on experience in a similar organisation
Advanced Excel skill set.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
