Description:

A brand new vacancy has been created for a progressive finance professional to work within the entertainment industry. In this role you will be directly working with the Head of Finance managing all company transactions as well as assisting with management accounts and month end duties.

Client Details

This role is ideal for an AAT Level 4 professional who is looking for a step up in their career and wanting more exposure to management accounting duties.

Those with experience with Xero and finance administration exposure within in the not for profit/ public sector industry will be highly desirable for this post.

Description

Duties and tasks of the Senior Finance Officer:

  • Ensure all finance transactions have been processed including sales and purchase invoices
  • Managing the company cashflow, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working closely with new suppliers setting them up on the accounting system and approving payment runs
  • Identify and monitor income and expenditure and raise invoices as required
  • Assist in management of company budgets for forecasts
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Producing reports and processing payroll journals
  • Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register

Profile

To be successful as the Senior Finance Officer you will have:

  • AAT Level 4 qualification or qualified by experience to this level with a relevant degree
  • Thorough understanding of debits and credits
  • Previous experience in using Xero accounting system and Excel
  • Proven ability to work independently and operate at a confident level
