Finance Assistant London The Organisation Our client is a faith-based charity. They seek to positively impact the lives of all members of society. They are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The Role As a Finance Assistant, you will support our client by ensuring that finance-related tasks and administration are handled accurately and promptly. Specifically, you will manage payments, transfers and invoices, while serving as a liaison between their locations, the support team and central finance team. You will also process bank payments, handle queries, assist with capital project monitoring and support the month-end processes by preparing journals and managing reconciliations. Additionally, you will: - Assist with raising sales invoices and following up with debtors - Manage shared inboxes and resolve queries - Support non-parish payments - Contribute to financial control and governance and support the annual audit process - Ensure all electronic paperwork is up to date and organised About You To be considered as a Finance Assistant, you will need: - An AAT, ACCA or CIMA entry-level qualification or be studying towards a qualification - Experience using Excel and Word All applications from all different faiths or none for that matter are more than welcome to apply.
