Neom are excited to be working with a growing brand, on a brand new job opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee transactional services.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Finance Manager - Transactional to oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This newly created position is crucial for streamlining and standardizing our transactional accounting processes to support rapid growth. In this role, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and lead a team focused on enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining cash flow, and ensuring timely and accurate transactions across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Oversee AP processes, manage a team of five, and ensure accurate vendor invoice handling and payment runs.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Lead the AR function, focusing on invoicing, collections, and maintaining strong relationships with NHS and local authority partners.
  • Transactional Process Improvement: Streamline and automate processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Controls & Compliance: Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Criteria

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in finance/accounting, with a focus on high-volume AP/AR functions.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop teams, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage 200) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly.
