Description:
  1. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our prestigious clients finance team within their professional services business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.     Duties

    • Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, overseeing timely payments and collections.
    • Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft to maintain financial records.
    • Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in financial legislation that may impact the organisation.

    Skills / Experience

    • Proficient in accounting software
    • Qualified accountant, qualified by ACCA
    • Experience as a senior finance business partner, senior accountant, finance manager or role similiar for at least 5 years.
    • Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
    • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting standards and regulations.
    • Experience in accounts payable processes and financial services.
    • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff members effectively.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
