Salary: Range 41-43 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £56,920 - £59,432 per annum (reduced to £34,152 - £35,659 per annum pro rata to reflect the reduced working nature of this role). Note that the nature of this role means that there are opportunities for the post-holder to work flexibly, in agreement with their line manager.

The Finance Director is a strategically important position within the College. Despite the increasingly challenging financial climate that sixth form colleges operate within, HNC remains financially 'outstanding'. Our ambition is to remain financially strong so that we can continue to deliver our curriculum intent. As the strategic lead for the College's finances, the successful candidate will have the knowledge, experience, qualifications and business acumen required for the role. Equally important will be their ability to deliver complex financial information to a broad range of audiences in an accessible, intelligible, meaningful way. We are seeking to appoint a colleague who shares our belief that the College's finances are the basis for delivering the HNC experience.
