Commercial Reporting Accountant

This role offers the chance to influence reporting and business partnerships to align with the broader group. In this role you will oversee all financial operations and lead the development of the financial accounting team.

Working Pattern

This role offers a hybrid working pattern based in Stourbridge with 3 days in office and 2 from home.

Main Duties

• Be a key partner to the FD in establishing new processes across the business.
• Enhance the quality and efficiency of monthly consolidated financial reporting.
• Improve group-level reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist the FD with month-end management reporting and consolidation for review by UK and Group Finance Directors.
• Develop and maintain financial models and cashflows for business planning.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and annual budget preparation.
• Ensure quarterly bank reporting is accurate and timely.
• Foster relationships with other departments, including asset management, legal, and marketing.
• Manage the production of year-end consolidated financial statements and audit deliverables.
• Handle the production of tax packs and coordinate with tax advisors.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office, based in Stourbridge and surrounded by an enthusiastic, knowledgeable team with great, supportive management.

What We Are Looking For

• ACCA/ACA qualified
• Experience in leading a team both in reporting and commercial aspects
• Management accounting experience in practice or industry
• Meticulous, organised, enthusiastic and hardworking
