Your new role

• Build relationships with Finance colleagues, directors, and senior management.
• Understand business models and their financial impact.
• Promote Finance Business Partnering and ensure compliance.
• Provide financial advice for proposals and tenders.
• Support budget holders and deliver financial insights.
• Develop financial plans and indicative budgets.
• Guide to Project Managers on budget management
• Manage project finances and reporting.
• Produce financial forecasts and assist with audits.
• Maximise stakeholder relationships and communication.
• Support Finance team objectives.
• Collaborate on financial reports.

What you'll need to succeed

• Part qualified or QBE
• Experience of financial reporting
• You will be able to support with financial management.
• Confident communicator, written and verbal
• Ability to take complex problems and provide simple solutions
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• IT: EXCEL (essential)

What you'll get in return

• 34,000 - 43,000 annual salary
• Temp contract until June 2025
• Hybrid working
• 37.5 hours per week
• Ability to gain experience of working within a public sector finance team
