Insurance Sales Consultant Wanted - APPLY NOW!

Full-Time Permanent or Temporary to Permanent (depending on experience).

No Evenings / No Weekends - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.

£24,000 - £30,000 Basic Annual Salary Experience Depending.

On Target Earnings up to £1,000 per month to your wages, (bonuses are uncapped and are based on targets achieved, potential £12,000 per annum).

Career training and progression available, along with mentorship and industry qualifications, with increased earning potential as you develop and learn commerical insurance products.

Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and confident person to join our commercial insurance brokerage team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating and analysing prospect client insurance policies, commitments, needs and requirements.

You will then source the best fit financial products available for your prospect client, and consult with them, building rapport and understanding, to gain the decision makers sign off and policy acceptance.

This is a telephone-based sales role, and you will receive inbound leads, working on previous quotes, annual renewals, as well as referral leads, and cold calling companies.

This is not a ram down the throat sales role, as the successful consultant will be able to negotiate, identify key unique selling points that the prospect client needs, as not only do you want to supply good quality commercial insurance policies, but you want to be able to have renewal conversations the following year.

If you have insurance, financial, banking sector telesales, call handling experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for business-to-business direct selling, then we want to hear from you.

You will be given all the tools, knowledge, and training to be able to succeed, you just need to bring the right attitude, determination and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • CRM database management.
  • Analyse prospect company's insurance policy needs
  • Offer suitable policy coverage options for clients.
  • Gain all relevant information on potential customers insurance commitments, costs, and budget through questioning techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct telephone-based activities, contacting warm leads to generate sales opportunities and closing sales, (inbound and outbound telesales).
  • Communicate effectively able to explain insurance options in a clear manner.
  • Assist with sales administration tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous telesales / call centre experience essential, due to nature of the role.
  • Inbound call centre, outbound telesales experience in insurance or financial services is essential, (full insurance product training will be given).
  • Confident asking questions, investigating, inquisitive, able to build rapport.
  • Must be able to work within a compliant and regulated work environment.
  • Computer and CRM database experience is essential.

  • You must be able to successfully complete learning and training, including insurance qualifications as part of your career development plan.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK as a full-time permanent employee.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Able to use computer database and MS Office software.
