Your new company Established over 25 years ago, one of North Wales' leading businesses is recruiting a 12-month FTC Financial Accountant covering maternity leave. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working within a high performing finance team, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing, analysing and submitting month-end and annual accounts. Duties and responsibilities will include:
Prepare and submit management accounts and information packs on time with detailed working papers.
Manage inputs for month-end processes promptly.
Handle corporation tax and VAT return preparation and reconciliation.
Assist with statutory audits, year-end accounts, and government submissions.
Support annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting.
Review incentive scheme payouts and reconciliations.
Proactively manage financial controls and identify improvement areas.
Review and develop policies, systems, and processes for efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and support internal audits.
Responsible for reporting key balance sheet items accurately.
What you'll need to succeed ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience accountant with a strong financial and management accounting background. You'll also have strong Excel skills, and be available to start by December 24. What you'll get in return Initial 12-month contract, hybrid working, 2-3 days per week in the office.
