Your new company Hays Finance are partnering with a food processing organisation based in Caistor who are looking to add an accounts assistant to their finance team. Your new role As Accounts Assistant you will be a pivotal part of the wider office team dealing with finance duties. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will assist and support the delivery of efficient, accurate and timely operations for the business. Main Responsibilities include;
Maintaining purchase ledgers from suppliers
Assist with coding of invoices against budgets
Process and get necessary approval for staff expenses
Manage payments to suppliers and cheque payments
Ensure documents are processed in accordance with VAT compliance
Manage th process of supplier payments in sterling and other currencies
Deal with supplier queries
Manage sales invoices and credits
Manage posting on customer payments by cheques and BACS
Check sales invoices are posted to sales ledger.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in a finance or finance administration role
Good work ethic
Excellent communication skills
What you'll get in return Permanent role with an established finance team. Monday-Friday 9-5. Salary up to £26,000 per annum What you need to do now
