Assistant Accountant

At Hays, we are currently working exclusively with a growing Multi-Academy Trust who are looking to recruit a key addition to their Finance Team, an Assistant Accountant! You'd be part of a close-knit team and working closely with the Finance Manager who'd be supporting you in Financial and Management Accounting! This organisation is keen on career progression and development and are looking for someone who will grow alongside the trust!

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities will include;

• Providing a high-quality financial processing support service for the central finance team.
• Responsible for dealing with both internal and external stakeholder queries.
• You will also get involved in all month-end procedures, Management Accounting (including Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Profit and Loss, reporting and analysis).
• And more!

To succeed in this role you need to be someone who has experience working in a varied finance role with the ability to meet strict deadlines. You may be someone who already possesses a Finance Degree or similar qualifications, but you will definitely have to have clear communication skills, working knowledge in finance and be able to work in a team!This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking for the next step into Management Accounting!
