PART-TIME FINANCE ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part Time Finance Assistant to join our client's team in the property industry. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our client's organisation. If you have a passion for finance, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments and resolve any payment issues
• Negotiate payment plans to ensure debts are settled
• Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment agreements
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to address any billing discrepancies or customer concerns
• Prepare and present reports of outstanding debts and collections efforts
• Use Xero platform to generate month-end invoices

Requirements:

• Proven experience in finance, preferably as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using Xero or a similar accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
