Financial Reporting Accountant

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be assisting a fantastic business with the recruitment of a Financial Accountant.

As Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for leading on all statutory reporting processes, including YE and half year audit, statutory accounts, and tax compliance. There will also be requirements to mentor and support a team of part qualified Accountants.

Responsibilities:

• Leading on technical accounting papers and queries
• Management of a team of part qualified Accountants
• Ensure financial accounting processes are carried out in line with IFRS accounting standards
• Own preparation of statutory accounts for all legal entities in accordance with FRS 101
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors for quarterly and year-end audits

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA
• Up to date knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Strong ERP knowledge

Package

• 50,000 base salary
• 26 days holidays
• Hybrid working 2 days office (Newcastle)
