Financial Accountant

Multi-national Manufacturing Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their central finance team. What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the main responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:

• Preparation of the annual financial statements for multiple entities under both US GAAP and IFRS;
• Act as key point of contact for the local external audit requests providing all information required;
• Preparation of R&D tax rebate claims and capital allowance work.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Applicants for the Financial Accountant role will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with previous experience of producing statutory financial accounts, ideally with a multinational group;
• Previous experience of improving internal processes and controls will be advantageous.
