This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience within marine or commercial insurance to delve deeper into a specialized and evolving area, working with a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Manage subrogated marine claims pre-litigation, focusing on timely resolution and compliance with company and client expectations Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, delivering high-quality service Handle a varied, high-volume caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and SLA requirements Negotiate effectively to secure favorable outcomes Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum 12 months' experience in marine/commercial insurance preferred Strong academic credentials, ideally CII qualified or with a relevant degree Detail-oriented, organized, and service-focused with strong communication skills Experience with subrogated recoveries is advantageous but not essential Working knowledge of contract and tort law Technical Knowledge: Solid foundation in general and marine insurance Knowledge of relevant aspects of contract and tort law Next Steps: If you're an experienced Claims Handler eager to make a meaningful impact in the Marine Insurance field, Time Recruitment would love to hear from you.
