Accounts Assistant Bookkeeper

Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Warwick based client in their search for an experienced Accounts Controller to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading business where you will play an integral role within a dynamic finance function. This position is premodinately office based, with moderate hybrid working available.

Daily duties and experience required includes:

• Experience working as an Accounts Controller/Bookkeeper or similar level position
• Overseeing transactional finance to trial balance
• Purchase ledger ownership
• Sales ledger management
• Processing the in-house monthly payroll
• Processing employee expenses
• Reconciling customer accounts and allocating payments
• Producing project accounting reports for management
• Preparing VAT returns and submitting them in accordance with HMRC deadlines.
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Maintenance of prepayments and accruals
