Commercial Operations Manager - Motor Insurance

Are you experienced in managing motor insurance products and corporate partnerships?

We're seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to drive the performance of our motor insurance offerings for high-profile automotive brands. A background as a motor insurance broker is highly advantageous in this role, where you'll ensure top-notch service and forge strong partnerships to support growth and operational excellence.

Role Purpose
As Commercial Operations Manager, you'll be accountable for the commercial performance of our motor insurance products, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. You'll play a key role in supporting growth, managing existing products, launching new offerings, and building insurer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational queries with corporate partners
  • Ensure that performance standards and revenue objectives are met
  • Manage customer and partner relationships to drive mutual growth and return on investment
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and work with stakeholders to deliver viable solutions
  • Use key performance data to inform actions that support our strategic objectives
  • Provide guidance to sales and product development teams
  • Maintain compliance and ensure fair outcomes for policyholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive motor insurance industry knowledge, with experience across technical, operational, and development roles
  • Proven ability to manage corporate partnerships, with a focus on affinity relationships
  • Strong understanding of insurance structures, including MGA and delegated models
  • Experience in launching new insurance schemes and managing change initiatives
  • ACII qualification or progress toward it is preferred

Skills

  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data, solve problems, and drive innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks within insurance partnerships
