Description: Hirexo have exclusively partnered with a leading Insolvency Practice, currently seeking to appoint a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner to join their rapidly growing team. This opportunity is based in Central London, with offices across the capital and offers hybrid working.

About the Role: Join a rapidly expanding commercial insolvency practice with locations across the entire UK. While my client has been excelling in the world of commercial insolvency, the practice is expanding into personal insolvency with a newly formed Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA) arm, though experience in IVAs is not required. However, if you do have IVA experience and a record of winning business, there will be an opportunity to build your own team around your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a broad portfolio of commercial insolvency cases, with opportunities to oversee personal/IVA insolvency work as the division expands.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, generating new business through personal networks and the firm s acquisitions.
  • Ensure all cases comply with regulatory and statutory requirements, delivering high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic growth plans and overall business success.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a team-oriented and supportive work culture.

Key Requirements:
  • Fully qualified and licensed Insolvency Practitioner, holding a valid UK insolvency licence.
  • Relevant qualifications such as JIEB, ICAEW, ACCA, CAI, or Law Society Insolvency Licence.
  • Proven experience in commercial insolvency, especially with MVAs and CVAs; IVA experience is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated record of generating new business and managing a minimum billing portfolio of £400,000, with proven billing schedules for the past three years.
  • Proven ability to win business and secure client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
