We're seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join an established team in Leeds. As a key member of our underwriting department, you'll assess and price commercial risks while building strong relationships with their broker network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite commercial insurance risks
• Make sound underwriting decisions within delegated authority
• Develop and maintain broker relationships
• Contribute to the team's growth and profitability targets

Requirements:

• Proven commercial underwriting experience - it would be ideal if you have experience in SME commercial combined policies
• Strong technical insurance knowledge
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities
• It is preferable to have CII qualifications (or working towards)
