Remote working - the position is office / client based. Remote working is available but only for specific / one off circumstances and is at the discretion of the company.
Salary - to be negotiated based on experience and subject to annual review in January

Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am to 16:30pm with hour lunch break

Job Role Description
The company's client base ranges from small owner managed businesses up to medium groups with an annual turnover of up to £55m.
The Duties:
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with a wide range of turnover in a wide range of sectors
Preparation of business tax computations and corporation tax computations
Liaising with clients to collect information and resolve queries to draft accounts and tax computations
Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
Ad hoc work as required by clients
Providing training, guidance, and support to members of the team as required
The Person:
Relevant practice experience in all aspects of accounting, business taxation, management information and statutory compliance
ACA or ACCA qualified
Experience of owner-managed small to medium-business accounts preparation including statutory financial statements
Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities
Have excellent communication skills and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the telephone, and by email
Must have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel
The ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail
Be able to demonstrate your initiative to solve problems
The ability to travel to clients premises as required
