A thriving and growing agricultural business is collaborating with Hays to source for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. They are based in West Gloucestershire and boast an honest and sustainable approach to their business as a family-owned organisation; a super-supportive company who are willing to up-skill and offer study for the right candidate.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing supplier invoices, up to circa 500 per month.
• Handling supplier queries.
• Performing account reconciliation, journal posting, and reporting.
• Supporting the accountant with ad hoc tasks and month-end accounts preparation.

• Strong PC skills, particularly in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• The ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proven, previous experience as a purchase ledger
