The Company

A leading boutique wealth/asset management firm based in the City of London.

The business was established in 2010 with a current headcount of 80 employees.Their current AUM is valued at £2 billion and they work with a diverse portfolio of clients from HNWIs, to privates, retail and corporates.

The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Product and Propositions Manager to join the business.

This is a key strategic position and the objective will be to serve as the key product interface between the core business areas and the central infrastructure teams. You'll oversee all product governance from processes and procedures, to ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

In addition, you'll drive commercial gain behind specific products and services, ensuring P&Ls have clearly been worked through, underpinned by agreed cross-functional team plans. Within this, an understanding of the target market, competitor products and our own product strengths and weaknesses will be crucial to ensure marketing and sales objectives can be achieved.

You will also support the firm s overarching growth strategy by assessing new commercial opportunities in the form of potential joint ventures, partnerships or acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Strong background within private banking, wealth management or financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across a multi-product environment.
  • Ability to strategise, police and develop product governance frameworks within an established business environment.
  • Strong understanding of both compliance and product risk.
  • Experience in new system development, along with pricing schedules for new business and driving commercial wins.
  • Extensive regulatory knowledge and experience in the UK financial services market.
  • Any experience working with US clients and adhering to IRS regulatory requirements would be hugely beneficial.
