Accounts Assistant - Immediate Start

Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Stevenage

Hours: 8.30am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours

Salary: £13.85 - £15.39 an hour, weekly pay

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client based in Stevenage on a Temporary to Permanent opportunity.

Duties of an Accounts Assistant:

• Accounts payable process from end to end. Enquiries to payment runs, processing invoices, applying payments in the system
• Cashbook entries and reconciliations and setting up payments
• Maintain accruals and prepayments register
• Maintain the Asset register and reconcile monthly
• Monthly Stock valuation and reporting
• Reporting on revenue by customer and item type and various other metrics
• Helping with budgeting process and year end processes
• Month end reconciliations with a view to take on further management accounts duties over time.

What we would like from you:

• Previous experience within an Accounts role
• Knowledge of stock accounting
• Experience using SAGE or MS Dynamics
• Excellent excel skills; v-look ups, pivot tables, sumifs
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Available to start ASAP
