Tax Senior

Tax Senior required. My client is a well-known firm of chartered accountants and businesses, based in the Stoke area. My client provides expert business and tax advice, combining over 80 years of industry experience with modern technology to deliver tailored solutions.

They work with a range of clients, from start-ups to established businesses, offering services like accounting, audit, tax planning, and compliance. Their focus on building strong relationships ensures they understand clients' financial goals and help them achieve success.

• Processing self-assessment and personal tax returns efficiently and accurately.
• Preparing and completing P11D forms
• Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required
• Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects

• CTA qualified/part-qualified.
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice, with the ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships.
• Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of corporate restructuring desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in self-assessment software essential.

• 35,000- 40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
