Audit Manager

Audit Manager required. My client is a well-known firm of chartered accountants and businesses, based in the Stoke area. My client provides expert business and tax advice, combining over 80 years of industry experience with modern technology to deliver tailored solutions.

They work with a range of clients, from start-ups to established businesses, offering services like accounting, audit, tax planning, and compliance. Their focus on building strong relationships ensures they understand clients' financial goals and help them achieve success.

• Manage and prioritise audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing client queries.
• Supervise and review the work of junior staff, providing feedback and guidance.
• Take charge of billing and ensure budgets are adhered to.
• Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards.
• Liaise with Managers, Directors, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

• ACA/ACCA fully-qualified
• Suitable candidates must have a deep understanding of regulatory obligations and quality standards.
• Experience in identifying and assessing risks, and implementing effective controls.
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Experience in leading teams, providing mentorship, and managing team dynamics effectively.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and auditing standards, including FRS and IFRS.
• Previous experience using IRIS (preferred)

• 50,000- 55,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
