What you'll need to succeed You MUST have recent experience of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns, ideally in a practice environment, but we can also look at industry experience. The candidate will have a good working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero. Experience of MTD would be desirable. From a qualifications perspective, you will be AAT, IAB or ICB part qualified or qualified with a strong attention to detail.
