Finance Assistant

CMA Recruitment Group is pleased to be assisting our Basingstoke-based client who have an urgent requirement for a Finance Assistant to join their established financial services company. This proactive position will ensure day-to-day financial functions within the office run smoothly by providing efficient and comprehensive support to central finance teams, contractors and communicating well with others. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with a view to become permanent.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

• Daily office administration including answer incoming calls, daily post and emails;
• Updating and maintaining monthly returns spreadsheet;
• Processing invoices, maintaining petty cash, adding remittance advices for the current month;
• Producing client billing reports and BACS payment runs.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

• Previous accounts experience in a busy finance environment;
• Strong communication skills;
• Ability to commit to working full time in the office;
• Experience of Iris accounting software would be an advantage.
