Senior Client Accountant

Senior Client Accountant - OUR CLIENT is a fast expanding commercial and residential property management company with a central London portfolio. They pride themselves on the service they offer their clients who range from UK investment companies to high-net-worth individuals. They are now looking for a Senior Client Accountant to join their vibrant and growing accounting team.

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Client Accountant will include:

• Inputting service charge budgets, raise charges (service charge, rent, insurance, adhoc charges) and demands to send to tenants/leaseholders.
• Preparing service charge year-end accounts for submission to accountants, including reconciliation and Trial Balance.
• Send year-end accounts and balancing charges with cover letters to tenants/leaseholders.
• Quarterly (and sometimes monthly) Variance Reports.
• Monthly client reporting, including supporting documents, invoices, demands issued, bank statements.
• Quarterly rent statements to Clients with pay-over of funds collected.
• Receipt incoming monies to correct leaseholder accounts.
• Monthly reconciliation of client bank accounts.
• Set up new managements following lease renewals, expiries, etc
• Close down managements and pass to new agents, to include reconciling the accounts, creating cash reconciliations, and collating all documents to send to new agents

THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Client Accountant:

• Must have 5+ years' experience of preparing year-end service charge Accounts.
• Must have used a property system such as QUBE/TRAMPS/YARDI.
