Accounts Technician

Accounts Technician required. My client is a top accountancy practice based across Devon and Somerset. They have a number of offices based in the South West of England and due to recent expansion are seeking an Accounts Technician to join their Weston-super-Mare office on a permanent basis.

• Prepare financial information, reports and returns for a wide range of clients
• Prepare and provide personal and company tax computations
• Prepare VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties
• Assist in information gathering to analyse and report information about income and expenditure to support decision making, planning and control

• Suitable candidates will be AAT L2 or L3 qualified
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly organised individual
• Good working knowledge of word and excel

• 22,000- 28,000 starting salary (depending on experience)
