Insight Analyst

You will be joining us as our new Insight Analyst, joining our i-Gaming division Aristocrat Interactive. You will be curious, inquisitive and have a craving to continuously learn and develop; you will have a player-first mentality and be commercially savvy. While in this role, you will be learning about the full range of products that Aristocrat Interactive offers its customers and have opportunities to feed into future product development. You will be responsible for a variety of work streams including generating business insight, data visualisation and utilising our wealth of data to drive product optimisation. To succeed in this role, you need to be creative with both data and visualisations and have a passion for creating insight that empowers teams and drives Aristocrat Interactive forwards.

• Cultivating an understanding of the gaming industry and regularly play our games to appreciate the players' experience and the context for ongoing projects.

• Thinking up strategic and commercial solutions to business problems which take into account the wider picture.

• Analysing new and existing markets and products to highlight potential business opportunities.

• Creating data-led product solutions to add personalisation and intelligence to our product offering.

• Digging into data to create data-first solutions.

• Working with product managers to define success for all products.

• Attending stand-ups and meetings with key stakeholders - communicating the status of projects and raising any potential risks as early as possible.

• Building robust and efficient data sources for use in reports and dashboards.

• Creating clear and aesthetically pleasing interactive dashboards.

• Producing clear and concise documentation where required.

• Continuously applying new techniques to develop yourself and your work further.

• Sharing knowledge with other members of the Business Intelligence team.

• Experience within a tech-based industry - online or app would be ideal.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Python an advantage.

• 2+ years of experience with Power BI.

• Ability to analyse problems and implement solutions.

• Ability to use data to solve complicated problems, making sensible assumptions along the way.

• Ability to learn in a fast-changing work environment.

• Very numerate & analytical with strong attention to detail.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week required in our central London office.
