Tax Manager

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Tax, responsible for delivering tax returns and the management of UK tax reporting and compliance, supported by a team of 2x Tax Assistants.

Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the London office.

Key Duties include:

• Analysis of data for tax purposes (VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT).
• Implement/maintain SAO regime.
• Manage quarterly CT61 submissions.
• Project work and technical research.
• Review and oversee preparation of CIS return.
• Review and oversee preparation PSA returns.
• Review and preparation of quarterly UK VAT returns.
• Review of SDLT calculations and returns.
• Tax provisions and reconciliation of tax accounts.

Requirements:

• Broad subject matter knowledge with focus on VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT tax.
• Experience in VAT, SDLT, CIS and CT.
• Extensive tax accounting experience within social housing.
• Fully qualified tax or accounting professional.
• Strong communication skills to engage with internal/external stakeholders.
