London - Onsite 2 days a week

Summary:

Join Emagine, a leading consultancy, as a Project Manager overseeing crucial initiatives for a Tier-1 investment bank. Take charge of projects such as Transactional Reporting, Emir Refit, and Transaction Reporting with other entities, focusing on operational intricacies including trade surveillance, stock borrow, and repos.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

Direct projects related to Transactional Reporting, Emir Refit, and Transaction Reporting with precision and adherence to industry standards.

Ensure a nuanced understanding of workflows and their impact on project timelines.

Dependency Oversight:

Identify and manage project dependencies to streamline workflows and ensure punctual project delivery.

Proactively address potential bottlenecks and mitigate risks associated with dependencies.

Budget Administration:

Develop and manage project budgets, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation.

Provide transparent financial updates and reports to key stakeholders.

Manage project budgets, with a typical range of £400,000, while larger projects may extend to £600,000.

Team Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of professionals, including two Operations Business Analysts, ensuring adherence to project milestones and delivering exceptional results.

Cultivate a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Jira Proficiency:

Drive the effective utilization of Jira for project management, ensuring meticulous task management and comprehensive progress tracking.

Provide training on Jira best practices and workflows to team members.

Desired Skills:

Operational Expertise:

Demonstrated proficiency in operational roles, particularly in trade surveillance, stock borrow, and repos within the financial domain.

Project Management Mastery:

Proven ability to leverage Jira for project management, ensuring tasks are organized, and progress is systematically tracked.

Dependency and Risk Mitigation:

Experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating project dependencies and risks.

Financial Acuity:

Proficient in budget management, with the ability to allocate resources judiciously and adhere to financial constraints.

Leadership and Team Management:

Previous experience managing teams, ensuring they meet milestones and deliver high-quality results.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct effective stakeholder engagements.
