Finance Assistant

Are you a recent graduate or someone with a some finance experience already, looking to advance your career? Our client is on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join a dynamic team! They are a leading name in their industry, known for their expertise in repairs, consultancy, testing, and training.

To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Understanding of Manufacturing or Engineering would be advatageous
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus!

Within this position, you ll also be:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
• Performing account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Supporting month-end closing processes.
• Maintaining and updating financial records and documentation.
• Resolving discrepancies and handling account-related enquiries.
• Gaining exposure to payroll, journal postings, and debtors control.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes.

Salary & Working Hours

• £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience
