The Role

Due to sustained growth and continuing expansion plans, our client, a well-established small insurance intermediary, is adding an Insurance Administrator to their team. Working as part of a team of 4, this varied administrative role will see you contributing to the support of a variety of business functions including:

  • Liaise with external agents to provide, confirm and collate information in line with regulatory requirements
  • Support Compliance in the collation of product information to achieve positive outcomes from Product Governance review
  • Undertake ad-hoc product and market benchmarking and collate applicable analysis reporting
  • Support Account Management with the review and issuance of policy wording
  • Attend internal meetings, preparing agenda and meeting minutes/actions
  • Field inbound calls from agents, insurers and general enquiries
  • Manage and respond to Insurer or Broker referrals
  • Manage complaint referrals and relevant complaint logging
  • Respond to Claims requests or queries
  • Accounts reconciliation and cash matching processing within finance system

Requirements

To be successful in the role of Insurance Adminsitrator, our client is seeking someone with some exposure to insurance or financial services. You will be highly organised, have an ability to take initiative, and be welcoming of responsibility, challenge and accountability. It would suit someone who is either looking to make the move out of the corporate world into a smaller environment, or someone already in a SME business who has the desire to learn and develop in an interesting a varied position who has maybe worked as a Policy Administrator, Claims Handler or Insurance customer service advisor.
