| Description: | Commercial Fleet Underwriter Manchester City Centre 35,000 - 45,000 2 days hybrid Working for one of the largest Insurers in the UK who have a huge global presence, this role is working within their leading SME department where they have an incredible culture and a proven track record within the industry. They have won various awards during 2024 and continue to be the best in class. As a Commercial Fleet Underwriter you will be responsible for growing a portfolio of brokers and supporting with their fleet policies within a book of business worth over 30 million to the entire department. The role Underwrite new and existing Mid-Market businesses with a focus on profitability, accuracy, and consistency, adhering to established underwriting practices and utilizing a comprehensive suite of available tools. Foster strong trading relationships with brokers through regular visits and collaboration on large cases, aiming to enhance financial outcomes and create a pipeline of new business opportunities. Actively participate in meetings with brokers and end customers to effectively communicate the organisations capabilities.
