Job Description/ The role:
  • Serve as the primary contact for a diverse client base, ensuring prompt and professional service and target delivery.
  • Prepare and review statutory and management accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely delivery.
  • Oversee and assist in the preparation and submission corporation tax, self-assessment, payroll and VAT returns.
  • Provide strategic business advice, including budgeting and financial planning, to support clients' growth and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor staff, encouraging a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to internal processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
What we need from you/ requirements/ what you will have:
  • Client manager / portfolio: 1 year (preferred)
  • Team management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Working in an accountancy practice: 4 years (required)
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio and delivering comprehensive accounting services.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams or staff members, with a focus on mentoring and team development.
