Accounts Assistant

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to work for a company based in Guildford, Surrey. The Finance Assistant will work closely with the Accountant, being part of the team supporting everyday transactional accounting and month end. This is a hybrid working Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant role and a great varied accounting opportunity.

Salary: 28-32K

Location: Hybrid working 2-3 days office based, Guildford - Surrey
Due to location, own transport required. Parking onsite

Accounts Assistant duties:

• Daily transactional accounting support, manage the invoicing and payment processing
• Assisting the Accountant with month end
• Supporting with financial analysis, collating statements and reports
• Preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with the budget and forecast process
• Monitor payments etc

Skills and experience:

• Experience of working in a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant type role
• Good IT skills and accounting software experience using Sage
• Excellent communication skills
