As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the finance function, working closely with the Finance Manager and a collaborative team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, accurate financial reporting, and support with various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Invoicing: Process high volume of purchase invoices accurately and promptly using the internal ticketing and processing system (Lightyear).
• Sales Invoicing:
• Run daily sales invoicing and profit reports, review data, and provide insights to senior management.
• Generate and issue sales invoices using Xero accounting software.
• Update and reconcile daily consolidated customer reports.
• Banking & Cash Management:
• Assign daily sales to invoices in the finance system.
• Support the Finance Director with daily bank reconciliations and month-end reports.
• Month-End Duties:
• Reconcile customer portal reports.
• Prepare customer consolidation reports.
• Generate and issue C.I.S statements to suppliers where applicable.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide additional support as required to meet team goals.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A calm and accurate approach under pressure, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting tools like Xero and Lightyear (a plus, but not essential).
