Audit Semi-Senior

Audit Semi-Senior required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors based in Leicester, and due to recent growth are seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join their friendly and welcoming team. They provide a range of services to their clients, including; audit, accountancy, advisory and tax services.

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and on time
• Plan and undertake audit assignments for companies and also audits and independent examinations on specialist assignments
• Prepare financial statements for limited companies
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service, managing and exceeding client expectations
• Maintain up to date technical knowledge and attend all relevant training provided

Suitable candidates must have 3+ years' previous experience working in accountancy practice environments, primarily in the audit department and will be ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified.

• 3+ years' previous experience working in an audit role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Excellent attention to detail and keen to exceed client expectations

• 28,000- 32,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• 34 days annual leave - including bank holidays
