Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in the Harlow area of Essex, and due to recent growth are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their welcoming and friendly team.

• Prepare sole traders and partnership accounts and tax returns
• Rental and investment tax returns
• Prepare VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties
• Payroll for staff cover
• Admin duties as and when they arrive

Suitable candidates will have previous experience in accountancy practice environments and will be AAT qualified/part-qualified.

• Suitable candidates must be AAT qualified/part-qualified
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team

• 25,000- 28,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
