Audit & Accounts Manager

I am seeking a dynamic Audit and Accounts Manager to join an established accountancy practice based in Exeter.

Do you hold an ACA ACCA qualification that is able to manage a team?

The organisation has a client base that ranges from start-ups to significant charities and NFP organisations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of audits and accounts and assisting the senior management and directors.

Job Title: Audit & Accounts Manager

Location: Exeter

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 44,000.00 - 48,000.00

Your responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will include:

• 50% Audit 50% Accounts (including Charity NFP sector)
• Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments
• Oversee workflow and management of a small team
• Review Audit files ahead of director review
• Review and prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis
• Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance
• Assist senior management & Partners
• Ad hoc project work

To be considered:

• ACA ACCA qualification
• Experience managing a team
• Work to tight and conflicting deadlines
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and delivery
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting
• Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (not essential)
